Stakeholders Meet to Protect Indian Pangolin

WWF-Pakistan, PCF and IWMB met at Margalla Hills to advance Indian pangolin conservation with updates on work, achievements and joint protection efforts.

WWF-Pakistan, a delegation from the Pangolin Crisis Fund (PCF) and representatives of the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) convened today at Margalla Hills National Park in Islamabad for a focused discussion on Indian pangolin conservation.

The IWMB shared key updates on ongoing work, detailed recent achievements and outlined the challenges that remain in protecting the Indian pangolin. The briefing highlighted progress by each organisation and the obstacles encountered on the ground in Margalla Hills.

Participants emphasised the importance of continued coordination and committed to strengthening collaborative efforts to safeguard this threatened species, building on the work and plans presented during the meeting.
