On 26 November 2025 Chief Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti held a meeting with National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at Parliament House in Islamabad to review the political, social and development landscape of Balochistan.
The Speaker dismissed circulating rumours about any change in the provincial leadership, calling them baseless, and underlined that the coalition government in Balochistan will continue to play its full role in advancing Balochistan development.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasised that the progress of Pakistan is directly linked with progress in Balochistan and described ongoing mega development projects in the province as a positive sign. He assured Chief Minister Bugti of full cooperation at all levels to support the welfare and uplift of the people of Balochistan.
Both leaders agreed on the importance of strengthening coordination between the federation and the provinces to address public concerns and improve service delivery, noting that closer coordination will accelerate Balochistan development and enhance effectiveness of government initiatives.
Chief Minister Bugti praised the Speaker’s leadership and thanked the National Assembly for facilitating legislative support to the Balochistan Assembly, while acknowledging the Speaker’s effective conduct of House proceedings.
Bugti also highlighted that the people of Balochistan, together with security forces, continue to stand courageously against terrorism, and he described Parliament as the strongest voice for the provinces in confronting national challenges. Both leaders committed to working together for the development, peace and prosperity of Balochistan.
