P@SHA at FPCCI IT Meeting Drives Automation

P@SHA leaders joined the FPCCI IT meeting to pursue digital innovation and automation across automotive and motorcycle spare parts sectors.

On 28th November 2025 P@SHA CEC Member Mohammad Munaf in his capacity as Industry Engagement Committee Co-Chair and P@SHA Secretary General Ali Hasani attended the 2nd meeting of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Information Technology at the FPCCI Head Office in Karachi and via Zoom. The session was convened by Mr. Khushnood Aftab, Convener of the committee, and centred on practical steps to boost sectoral collaboration through technology.

The FPCCI IT forum examined a range of IT-driven initiatives aimed at supporting automation, digital innovation and improved trade processes across the IT, automotive manufacturing, motorcycle spare parts and import sectors. Participants explored how digital platforms and process automation can reduce friction in supply chains and enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Representatives from the Pakistan Motorcycle Spare Parts and Dealers Association including Liaquat Ali Shaikh, Muhammad Arif Siddiqui, Zubair Ahmed and Syed Jamal Shah joined the meeting, alongside delegates from the Pakistan Automobile Spare Parts Importers and Dealers Association, Muhammad Babar and Shaikh Muhammad Usman, together with members of the FPCCI IT Committee.

Discussions highlighted potential collaborations that leverage technology for sectoral growth, greater operational efficiency and innovation in trade and manufacturing processes. P@SHA representatives signalled their readiness to work with the FPCCI IT committee to identify pilot projects and practical interventions that support automation and digitalisation across relevant industries.

Participants agreed to continue the dialogue to convert the meeting’s ideas into actionable steps, with an emphasis on aligning industry needs with technology solutions that can be implemented at scale to benefit producers, traders and service providers in Pakistan.
