Horticulture Agency enhances Children Park Rawalpindi with winter plant protection and colorful displays to improve family recreation across the city.

Under directions from the MD of the Horticulture Agency, teams in Rawalpindi have completed a beautification drive at Children Park Rawalpindi, installing seasonal flowers and protective measures to shield plants from the cold. The park’s colorful beds and refreshed planting present a bright springlike scene that has drawn families across the neighborhood.

Ahmed Hassan Ranjha instructed staff to prioritize both aesthetics and safety as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade parks across the city. Grounds crews have been working day and night to maintain flowering beds and green belts, while using available resources to ensure play areas are safe and welcoming for children and their families.

The work at Children Park Rawalpindi included planting hardy seasonal varieties, protecting young shrubs from frost, and routine care to keep flower displays vivid through winter. These measures are part of a broader campaign to make Rawalpindi greener and to provide healthier outdoor spaces where citizens can relax and enjoy recreational facilities.

Agency staff remain engaged in regular gardening activities across municipal parks and green belts, and officials say the drive will continue alongside a vigorous tree plantation campaign. By expanding green cover and sustaining park maintenance, authorities aim to help reduce environmental pollution and smog while improving the city’s public recreation infrastructure.
