The Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority has issued its first fully digital e-Registration Certificate following the automation of the schools registration system, marking a key step in the capital’s move toward paperless governance.
Chairman ICT-PEIRA Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah praised the role of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and acknowledged the continuous support of the Federal Minister and Federal Secretary, saying strong leadership and a shared vision for digital transformation were central to the achievement.
Dr. Mallah also commended the sustained efforts of the PEIRA team and staff whose commitment enabled the rollout. He reaffirmed that PEIRA will pursue further reforms to strengthen its role both as a regulator and as a facilitator in promoting quality education across the Islamabad Capital Territory.
The newly launched 100% online system allows private educational institutions to apply, track and receive approvals through the e-Registration process without physical visits, saving time, cutting costs and improving transparency and accountability in school regulation.
ICT-PEIRA said it will continue to leverage technology to enhance governance and service delivery, setting new benchmarks in educational regulation and facilitation while making it easier for schools in Islamabad to comply and operate efficiently.
