Shaharyar Memon held talks with Sindh Governor Nihal Hashmi in Islamabad focusing on strengthening overseas affairs and expanding trade links. The meeting emphasized tapping into the Pakistani diaspora to drive investment, entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange that can benefit Sindh and the wider national economy.
Mr. Memon highlighted the need for structured platforms that connect young entrepreneurs with global markets and simplify cross-border partnerships. He underlined that these platforms should enable youth-led businesses to access international opportunities, investor networks and mentorship while promoting Pakistan as a competitive destination for diaspora investment.
Governor Nihal Hashmi welcomed the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme initiatives and stressed the pivotal role of young professionals in economic development. He expressed support for policies that deepen external linkages and increase trade and investment flows into Sindh and across Pakistan.
Both sides agreed to enhance coordination with the Prime Minister’s office to accelerate implementation of joint measures. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to promote economic diplomacy, facilitate business networking and empower youth through global engagement among relevant institutions.
