Gouhor Muhammad Jawad, president of the Bangladeshi Students’ Association in Pakistan (BASAP), praised Pakistan’s significant contribution to the temporary ceasefire and wider efforts to foster regional stability. The BASAP leader highlighted Pakistan ceasefire efforts as central to recent progress and offered both personal and organizational appreciation for Pakistan’s commitment to supporting peace.

Mr. Jawad stressed the critical need for all parties to honour the ceasefire, saying the people of Bangladesh recognise Pakistan’s earnest role in bringing stakeholders together to respect the agreement. “I firmly believe that peace can only come through dialogue and trust, and Pakistan has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to these values,” he said, underlining the importance of continued diplomatic engagement.
