Pakistan mediation highlighted at Wellington Cullen Breakfast as Islamabad presses diplomatic efforts for Middle East peace and Asia-Pacific energy security.

The Pakistan High Commission in New Zealand outlined Pakistan’s mediation role in the current Middle East crisis to a diverse audience at Wellington’s Cullen Breakfast this morning.

Speakers framed Pakistan as the geopolitical pivot of Asia, a net security provider for the region and a Middle Power with agency, and said Pakistan continues to invest significant political and diplomatic capital to seek an end to the war and peace in the Middle East. The remarks emphasised Pakistan mediation as a core element of Islamabad’s regional diplomacy.

Those attending were warned that the conflict threatens the financial and energy security of billions across the Asia-Pacific and beyond, underscoring why Pakistan mediation matters not only for regional stability but also for global markets and supply chains.

The High Commission’s presentation to a New Zealand audience reflected Islamabad’s active diplomatic outreach and its effort to engage international partners on de-escalation and durable peace in the Middle East.
