Party leader, said Islam is fundamentally a faith of fraternity and mutual care as he marked Global Brother Day. He reminded listeners that Islam elevates family bonds—mother, father, sister and brother—and praised the brotherhood exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Hazrat Ali as a model of loyalty and sacrifice.
Siddiqui said that a brother is a close and pure relationship that instinctively shares in sorrow and springs into action to remove hardships. He urged Pakistanis to translate the spirit of Brotherhood in Islam into practical help for those struggling, especially with Eid al-Adha approaching and many families facing severe economic pressures.
With Eid near, Siddiqui called on citizens, social organizations and community leaders to ensure no brother or sister is excluded from the festival’s joy. He said the best celebration would be one in which everyone shares the festive moments together, and encouraged charitable drives and direct support to make the occasion easier for vulnerable households.
Recalling national history, Siddiqui paid tribute to the role of Fatima Jinnah during the Pakistan movement and her continued example of public service, saying her legacy inspires civic responsibility today. He also lamented the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza, condemning recent Israeli aggression and urging the Muslim Ummah and national leaders to take effective steps toward a lasting solution and meaningful relief for the affected communities.
