Westminster International School held its Early Years Graduation 2026 in Islamabad today with Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, presiding over the ceremony and addressing families, faculty and young graduates.
He described the event as a defining milestone for Pakistan’s youngest learners and stressed the national importance of early childhood development, noting research that confirms over 90 percent of a child’s brain development occurs in the first five years. The most powerful infrastructure a nation can build is an educated, confident, and compassionate human being and it starts exactly here at this age in these classrooms, he said, underscoring the role of early education in long-term national progress.
Speaking also in his capacity as Director of Westminster International School, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry said the school’s approach goes beyond academic instruction to nurture curiosity, build confidence and foster character from the earliest years. He highlighted that these foundations are essential for learners to thrive in later stages of education and civic life.
He paid tribute to parents as their child’s first and most enduring teachers and lauded the dedication of Westminster’s faculty, calling teachers nation-builders whose daily work shapes Pakistan’s future. The remarks reflected a broader commitment to elevate standards and accessibility across early childhood programmes in the country.
Barrister Danyal reaffirmed his commitment, both as a public representative and educator, to champion investment in early childhood education, expand access to quality schooling and ensure every child in Pakistan receives the foundational start they deserve. The message aligned his work at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting with his role at the school, rooted in the conviction that an informed, educated citizenry is Pakistan’s greatest asset.
The Early Years Graduation highlighted Westminster International School’s continued focus on fostering strong beginnings in Islamabad and the surrounding community, underscoring the centrality of early investment in learning and wellbeing for the nation’s youngest citizens.
