Consul General Joins Khyber Society Oath Ceremony

Consul General Aamer Atozai attended the Khyber Society oath ceremony, praised community unity and pledged Consulate support to empower Pakistani-Americans.

The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, attended the oath-taking of the newly elected cabinet of the Khyber Society of America as the chief guest. He congratulated the incoming office-bearers and commended the Society’s long-standing work to promote unity, preserve cultural heritage and enhance community engagement among Pakistani-Americans with roots in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing the gathering, the Consul General highlighted the important role diaspora organisations play in strengthening people-to-people ties and fostering a positive image of Pakistan abroad. He emphasised that cultural initiatives and community programmes help maintain ties to heritage while supporting social cohesion within the Pakistani-American community.

Mr. Atozai extended his best wishes to the new cabinet and reaffirmed the Consulate’s support for initiatives aimed at serving and empowering the community. He encouraged continued collaboration between the Khyber Society and Pakistani missions to amplify outreach and development efforts that benefit families and youth.
