In Rawalpindi, Railway Prem Union (CBA) partnered with Hasni International and Help and Need to distribute Qurbani meat to 500 railway worker families ahead of Eid al-Adha. The distribution drew a large turnout of labourers and union officials who gathered to receive the sacrificial meat and celebrate the festival together.
Dr. Ishtiaq Irfan, divisional president of Railway Prem Union (CBA), expressed gratitude to Hasni International and Help and Need for including railway workers among the beneficiaries. He thanked the organisations and their teams for bringing Eid relief to five hundred families, noting the importance of solidarity during the festival.

Senior vice president Khizr Hayat and organisers including Muhammad Khan, Nafees Khan, and senior leader Syed Zahoor Shah were present alongside local representatives Younus Jutt, Malik Tahir, Nadeem Munir Gujar and Mansoor Hazarevi. The event reflected close cooperation between the union and partner charities to support railway workers and their families.
Muhammad Hamid Khan Bangash, CEO of Help and Need Pakistan, and coordinators Syed Usman Ali Shah and Umar Mujahid represented the relief partners, joined by Arjan Hasni and programme in-charge Madam Hifza from Hasni International. They reiterated that providing aid to those in need across Pakistan and beyond remains central to their mission.
The initiative aimed to ensure that railway workers could share in Eid al-Adha festivities with dignity, underscoring the role of civil society and unions in addressing immediate needs at the grassroots level. Organisers said similar collaborative efforts will continue to reach vulnerable communities across the country.
