In Islamabad, a delegation from the Rising Pakistan Movement met with the leadership of the Complete Pakistan Party to urge restraint and safeguards that will keep the light of Azad Kashmir peace burning amid challenging global conditions. Deputy Chief Organizer of the Rising Pakistan Movement, Rakhshanda Tasneem, exchanged views with Complete Pakistan Party Chairman Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi. Tahir Mahmood, Ijaz Ahmed and Shadab Qureshi were also present at the meeting.
Speakers underlined that Pakistan and Azad Kashmir have long been associated with unity, tolerance and mutual respect, and they called on political groups and community leaders to maintain that tradition of goodwill. Emphasising the need for calm, the delegation said sustained Azad Kashmir peace is essential not only for local stability but also for broader national cohesion.
Participants discussed practical cooperation on public welfare initiatives, strategies to engage youth in political and social programmes, and joint measures for national development. The meeting covered organisational matters, upcoming political strategy and a coordinated public outreach campaign aimed at strengthening community bonds and improving services.
Chairman Muhammad Abdul Mateen Hashmi expressed a firm commitment to working together through positive thinking, national unity and public service to advance Pakistan’s development and prosperity. Both sides agreed to continue dialogue and implement collaborative steps that support long-term Azad Kashmir peace and socio-economic progress.
