Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met with Balochistan leadership at Parliament House in Islamabad on 9 June 2026, in a session aimed at strengthening ties between the federation and the province. The delegation included Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhail and Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Saleem Khan Khosa.
During the Balochistan meeting, participants held detailed discussions on improving federal-provincial links, enhancing cooperation and coordination, and addressing shared priorities. The talks reviewed ongoing development projects in Balochistan, public welfare initiatives and plans for upgrading infrastructure to support the province’s overall progress.
The Speaker underlined the need for effective communication, mutual trust and close collaboration to tackle the challenges facing the province and to advance development priorities. He emphasised that sustained cooperation between the federation and the provincial government is essential for delivering lasting solutions to public problems and for accelerating Balochistan’s growth.
All attendees reiterated their commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, upholding parliamentary traditions and promoting inter-provincial harmony to safeguard national unity. They agreed on the importance of coordinated action to protect the national interest and to carry forward an agenda focused on public welfare.
Mr Sadiq praised the provincial government’s efforts to promote peace, stability and service delivery in Balochistan, noting that the province’s sustained development is vital for Pakistan’s future. Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhail welcomed the Speaker’s interest and cooperation and pledged to deepen positive collaboration with the federal government.
