Rawalpindi Women University has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Javeria Amin, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Sciences, for securing an international research grant worth KRW 30 million.
The grant was awarded on 4th May 2026 for the project titled “Training and Joint Pilot Demonstration of QML Practical Pipeline for Medical AI”. It is funded by Sungkyunkwan University, Republic of Korea, which is ranked 123rd worldwide in the QS World University Rankings.
The university said the achievement reflects Dr. Javeria Amin’s commitment to advancing research in Quantum Machine Learning (QML) and highlights her international research collaborations. It also acknowledged the facilitation and support of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Rawalpindi Women University, in promoting global academic partnerships.
