ISLAMABAD: The Motorway Police recovered a lost purse containing jewellery and a mobile phone worth Rs1.9 million and handed it over to its owner.
According to the details, a family travelling from Islamabad to Quetta informed the Motorway Police that their purse had gone missing near M-14 Daud Khel. The family said the purse had mistakenly been thrown out by children.
The purse contained jewellery worth Rs1.7 million and a mobile phone valued at Rs200,000.
After receiving the information, the Motorway Police immediately alerted all relevant patrolling mobiles. Following an effective search, the missing purse was safely recovered and returned to the affected family.
The family expressed gratitude to the Motorway Police for their timely assistance, honesty and professional service.
The recovery was described as another example of prompt action, integrity and dedication to duty by the Motorway Police.
