Islamabad, July 26, 2026: Ten students and two teachers departed for Moscow on Sunday after completing the Russian language course at Islamabad Model College for Boys, I-8/3, under the Prime Minister’s Initiative.
The course was introduced in colleges working under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) as part of a tripartite agreement among the FDE, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
According to the Ministry, the participants left for Moscow on the invitation of the Government of the Russian Federation following the successful completion of the course.
The initiative is aimed at equipping young people with foreign-language proficiency, international exposure and skills linked with emerging educational and employment opportunities.
The Ministry appreciated the contribution and continued support of the FDE, NAVTTC, NUML and the Government of the Russian Federation in making the initiative successful.
