SI Global Solutions has signed an MoU with China-based Jovision Technology to advance Safe City and maritime safety solutions in Pakistan.

Karachi: SI Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, a leading maritime solutions provider and one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing ICT system integrators and Safe City consultants, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jovision Technology Co Ltd, a global leader in intelligent video surveillance based in Jinan, China.

The strategic partnership is aimed at strengthening public safety and maritime security infrastructure across Pakistan through the introduction of AI-driven CCTV technology and state-of-the-art marine equipment.

SI Global Solutions, which has offices in the United States and the United Arab Emirates and a nationwide presence in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, has positioned itself as a consultant for Safe City projects in Pakistan and a market leader in maritime navigation solutions.

Under the MoU, SI Global Solutions will act as the exclusive partner for Jovision in Pakistan for the deployment of AI-powered surveillance solutions for Safe City projects. The collaboration will focus on intelligent CCTV systems, cloud-based video analytics, full-colour night vision and integrated command and control platforms to improve urban safety and support crime prevention efforts.

The partnership also extends to the maritime sector. As part of the initiative, SI Global Solutions has procured advanced polyurethane buoys from China for deployment at Pakistani ports. According to the company, it is the first to introduce polyurethane buoys in Pakistan. These buoys offer low maintenance, extended service life and superior resistance to harsh sea and weather conditions.

A delegation of Safe City and maritime experts from SI Global Solutions, led by Commander (Retd) Liaquat Ali PN, recently visited China. Technical discussions and product demonstrations during the visit paved the way for the MoU with Jovision and for sourcing IALA-compliant marine equipment to enhance safety and navigation at Pakistani ports and harbours.

“We are honoured to partner with Jovision and Sunhelm, as these companies share our vision for safer cities and smarter ports,” said Dr Noman Ahmed Said, CEO of SI Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. “This collaboration underscores our commitment to quality, innovation and global standards. Together with our Chinese partners, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the safety and security of Pakistan’s urban centres and maritime infrastructure.”
