Five MPhil Scholars Defend Theses at Women University Mardan

Five MPhil scholars of the Department of Botany, Women University Mardan, successfully defended their theses.

MARDAN: The Department of Botany, Women University Mardan, successfully conducted the MPhil thesis viva voce examinations of five scholars under the supervision of Dr Sabaoon.

The viva voce examinations were conducted by an academic panel comprising Dr Yamin Bibi from the Department of Botany, Rawalpindi Women University, as external examiner, Dr Hira Bashir, Head of the Department of Botany, Women University Mardan, and Dr Haleem, Director ORIC, Women University Mardan.

The scholars — Elsa Azam, Khadija Noor, Nasreen, Muniba Hoor and Suhana Bibi — successfully defended their MPhil theses. During the viva, they presented their research findings and responded to questions from the examination panel, demonstrating their understanding of their respective research areas and the scientific significance of their work.

The panel appreciated the scholars’ research efforts, academic performance and commitment to their research projects.

Dr Sabaoon, the supervisor of the scholars, congratulated all five students on successfully completing the important academic milestone and appreciated their dedication, hard work and commitment to research.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Razia Sultana also appreciated the successful completion of the MPhil viva voce examinations and congratulated the scholars, supervisor and Department of Botany on the academic achievement.

She emphasised the importance of quality research and encouraged faculty members and postgraduate scholars to continue contributing to scientific and academic development.
