Arid University, Seyrab Water Systems sign MoU on water management

PMAS-AAUR and Seyrab Water Systems signed an MoU during a meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman.

RAWALPINDI: Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) and Seyrab Water Systems have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly water management, groundwater, technological development, research and innovation.

The MoU was signed during a meeting held at the university under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman. The Registrar, Deans and Directors of the university were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the meeting, Prof Dr Qamar-uz-Zaman highlighted the vital importance of water and stressed the need for collaborative and coordinated efforts to address current and emerging challenges related to water resources and management.

He said the MoU would provide a valuable platform for joint initiatives in water-related programmes, research and modern technological solutions.

Seyrab Water Systems Founder Adnan Faisal thanked the Vice Chancellor and the university team for their cooperation and support.

He termed the MoU an important step towards establishing a productive partnership between the two institutions, saying both sides would work together to explore new opportunities for research, innovation and development and promote joint initiatives.
