Federal Minister for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja on the second day of the PM Fuel Relief Scheme paid surprise visits to petrol pumps and directly interacted with citizens regarding the facility.
During the visits, the federal minister said the scheme would start across the country from today. She briefed citizens present at the petrol pumps in detail about the registration process and the procedure to avail the relief.
Shaza Fatima issued strict directions to the administration and petrol pump owners to ensure that pumps comply with the scheme and provide uninterrupted facilitation to citizens.
She also directed strict monitoring of petrol pumps that delay or refuse the provision of subsidised petrol under the scheme.
Senior officials of the Islamabad district administration and the Ministry of IT accompanied the federal minister during the visits.
Citizens present at the petrol pumps appreciated the PM Fuel Relief Programme and the federal minister’s initiative.
