The speakers said PMOS involves an interconnected spectrum of endocrine dysfunction, metabolic abnormalities, ovarian dysfunction, hyperandrogenic manifestations and associated reproductive, dermatological and psychological concerns.

They emphasised early recognition of metabolic risk factors, individualised management, lifestyle intervention, appropriate medical therapy and long-term follow-up.

The programme provided a multidisciplinary platform for promoting evidence-based awareness, reducing stigma and encouraging timely diagnosis and comprehensive care for women’s endocrine and metabolic health.
