Imran Khan Criticizes India’s Arrogant Behavior in Cricketing World

Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan expressed his disappointment with the state of cricketing relations between India and Pakistan, stating that it is a “sad and unfortunate affair.” In his criticism, Khan accused India of behaving arrogantly and acting as if they are a superpower in world cricket.

He further criticized the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for selectively choosing which countries to play against based on their revenue-generating potential for world cricket.

This behavior, according to Khan, is driven by India’s desire to retain their status as a superpower.

Khan also criticized the BCCI’s treatment of Pakistani cricketers, calling it a display of arrogance.

Despite this, he expressed confidence in the quality of young cricketers in Pakistan and urged fans not to worry about their exclusion from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He also pointed out that Pakistan has its own quality T20 league, the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which attracts foreign cricketers.

Imran Khan’s statements emphasize the need for a more equitable and respectful relationship between India and Pakistan in the cricketing world.

The focus should be on fostering healthy competition and showcasing the talents of all cricket-playing nations, rather than prioritizing revenue and status.
