An annual spiritual gathering commemorating Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was held at Dargah Muali Gulshan-e-Sultan-ul-Hind Ajmeri in Rawalpindi, presided over by Sheikh-ul-Mashaikh Hazrat Khawaja Dewan Syed Aal-e-Habib Ali Khan, Sajjada Nasheen of Ajmer Sharif. The event included recitation of the Holy Quran, devotional praises, scholarly lectures, special prayers for peace and prosperity, and concluded with the traditional distribution of Langar Hussaini among all participants.
The spiritual event at Dargah Muali Gulshan-e-Sultan-ul-Hind Ajmeri commenced traditionally with the completion (Khatam) of the Holy Quran and recitation of salutations (Darood Sharif). Devotees enthusiastically participated in recitations from the Khawajgan-e-Chisht spiritual order, uplifting the gathering with an atmosphere of devotion and respect.
After initial prayers, the official session began formally with Quranic recitations, followed by heartfelt presentations of Naat-e-Rasool (SAW), eloquently offered as tributes to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and martyrs of Karbala. Religious scholars delivered soul-touching addresses highlighting the noble status and supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), enlightening attendees on various historical aspects of the tragedy of Karbala.
Sheikh-ul-Mashaikh Hazrat Khawaja Dewan Syed Aal-e-Habib Ali Khan addressed the attendees, leading special prayers and seeking intercession through the sacred martyrdom of Karbala. He emphasized unity, peace, prosperity, and well-being for the entire Muslim Ummah as well as the nation of Pakistan.
At the conclusion of the spiritual gathering, after Zuhr prayers, the customary Langar Hussaini was respectfully distributed among the devotees, symbolizing spiritual blessings, generosity, and communal harmony.
