Deputy Chairman Senate Seydal Khan met with senators and the Federal Minister for Health, underscoring national unity, economic progress, health improvement, and institutional cooperation as critical pathways toward Pakistan’s development.
During the meeting held at Parliament House Islamabad, Deputy Chairman Senate Seydal Khan exchanged detailed views with senators and the Federal Minister for Health regarding key national issues, including political stability, public health initiatives, economic growth, and internal security. Participants stressed that, given the prevailing circumstances, collective effort, institutional harmony, and political stability remain indispensable for steering the country toward sustainable development.
Deputy Chairman Senate Seydal Khan emphasized the necessity of collective wisdom and national unity in tackling major national challenges. He stated that solutions to Pakistan’s current difficulties cannot be achieved by any single party or individual; instead, political parties must set aside differences and unite when matters of national interest are involved.
Commending Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, he praised the current government for taking bold and timely steps aimed at achieving economic stability. He highlighted initiatives such as improved fiscal discipline, investment-friendly policies, export promotion measures, industrial revitalization, and agricultural reforms as crucial efforts enabling Pakistan to progress toward self-reliance and economic resilience.
On health matters, Seydal Khan acknowledged the importance of a robust healthcare system as fundamental to any modern, progressive society. The Deputy Chairman appreciated recent governmental actions led by the Federal Minister for Health aimed at upgrading hospitals, enhancing health infrastructure, and ensuring provision of quality medical services to the public.
He further appreciated the government’s swift response and effective strategies during recent heavy rains and flood situations, noting that timely interventions significantly minimized the loss of lives and property.
