Students of Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges carried Pakistan’s cultural heritage to two major events in Türkiye during April 2026, showcasing talent and forging international friendships. Delegations from Lahore Dream Garden and Lahore Asifa Irfan campuses attended the International Bread Festival in Istanbul from 18–25 April 2026, while students from Islamabad Chak Shahzad and Islamabad G-10 campuses took part in the 48th International 23rd April Children’s Festival in Ankara from 19–24 April 2026.
At the International Bread Festival in Istanbul the young participants prepared traditional Pakistani naan, which was warmly received by guests and fellow delegates. As part of official protocol activities, the students visited the Governor’s House, presenting souvenirs on behalf of Pakistan and Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges as gestures of goodwill and cultural exchange. The presence of Pak-Turk students highlighted Pakistan’s culinary traditions and hospitality on an international stage.
In Ankara the Pak-Turk delegation delivered a vibrant performance of the national song “Ae Mere Watan,” captivating a diverse international audience with energetic choreography and patriotic spirit. The students’ presentation underlined Pakistan’s cultural colours and won admiration from spectators and fellow participants. During the festival the visiting students also had the honour of meeting President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, an occasion that added historical significance to their participation.
Participation in both the International Bread Festival and the 23rd April Children’s Festival provided meaningful global exposure for the students and reinforced Pak-Turk Maarif’s commitment to confidence-building and cultural diplomacy. The successful appearances by these young ambassadors of Pakistan reflect their talent, discipline and pride as they continue to represent the country on prominent international platforms. Pak-Turk students returned home having strengthened people-to-people ties and showcased Pakistan’s rich traditions to the world.
