**NUST Explores Collaboration on Sustainability and Inclusive Development with Parliamentary Delegation**

The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) welcomed a parliamentary delegation led by Ms. Shaista Pervaiz Malik, Member of the National Assembly and Convener of the SDGs Secretariat, alongside Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation on sustainability, innovation, and inclusive development.

During their visit to the campus, the delegation toured NUST facilities, learning about the university’s wide-ranging initiatives to promote sustainability, foster inclusive growth, and advance climate action driven by innovation. Representatives from the university’s Office of Sustainability showcased ongoing projects and discussed the potential for future collaboration.

In productive discussions, Ms. Malik and Ms. Akbar conveyed strong interest in partnering with NUST to offer joint training programs focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They also explored prospects for launching fellowship programs to support young entrepreneurs and discussed developing inclusive education models for individuals with disabilities.

Both parties expressed a shared commitment to further this engagement, emphasizing the power of partnerships in advancing national priorities and addressing global sustainability challenges. The collaboration aims to empower the next generation of changemakers throughout Pakistan, aligning efforts with the country’s development objectives and international sustainability targets.
