**Director Engineer Services Reviews Infrastructure Upgrades at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport**
The Director Engineer Services conducted an extensive inspection of Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) in Lahore, focusing on the progress and quality of several key infrastructure projects. The visit underscored the airport’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high operational standards and enhancing passenger experience.
During the visit, the Director placed particular emphasis on Taxiway “P,” recognizing its critical role in airport operations. He commended the airport management for ensuring the taxiway remains operational and well-maintained, highlighting its importance for efficient traffic flow and safety.
The inspection also included a review of ongoing rehabilitation work on Taxiway “R,” as well as site visits to Taxiways “B” and “D.” The Director issued important directives during these visits, aimed at further strengthening operational safety and upholding best practices in maintenance and management.
Additionally, the Director expressed satisfaction with the progress of renovation works underway in the state lounge. He also held discussions regarding the establishment of a new executive lounge, which is intended to enhance services for foreign dignitaries and offer improved amenities for VIP passengers.
