Ambassador Khorev and the Russian trade representative met Sialkot business leaders to boost Russia Pakistan trade and advise on visas, certification and joint ventures.

On January 28, Ambassador Albert P. Khorev and Russian Trade Representative Denis Nevzorov took part in a business dialogue with members of The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry, engaging directly with local manufacturers and exporters about deepening commercial ties.

The ambassador highlighted the long standing nature of bilateral economic relations and described the broad opportunities now available to expand cooperation, including the option of creating joint ventures. He framed these prospects as practical openings for Sialkot enterprises looking to diversify markets and form partnerships with Russian counterparts.

In response to questions from the audience, Ambassador Khorev offered recommendations on models for doing business with Russia, the process for obtaining multiple entry visas to Russia, product certification requirements and other matters of immediate concern to local industry. His guidance focused on steps companies can take to navigate regulatory and logistical hurdles when pursuing cross border projects.

Mr. Nevzorov’s participation reinforced the message that concrete coordination between Russian agencies and Pakistani business groups can ease market entry and collaboration. The meeting aimed to translate long term potential into actionable plans that strengthen Russia Pakistan trade and support Sialkot’s manufacturing community.
