RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Peoples Party leader and president of Taraqi Pasand Falahai Tanzeem, Muhammad Amir Siddiqui, has felicitated Muslims on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), being observed on 12 Rabiul Awwal 1448 Hijri.
In his message, Siddiqui extended greetings to all devotees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on the 1501st Jashn-e-Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH), saying that this blessed month marks the birth of Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (PBUH), whose arrival transformed darkness into light and guided humanity towards the path of truth.
He said the blessed moment of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) birth was the most radiant moment for the world, adding that love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a part of faith and sending Durood and Salam upon him is a source of honour and blessing for believers.
Siddiqui said the remembrance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brings peace to the heart, while following his Sunnah reforms and beautifies life.
He urged people to illuminate their hearts with love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) during this sacred month, adopt the noble character of the Prophet (PBUH), and spread the message of love, sincerity and peace around them.
He prayed that Allah Almighty grant Muslims the ability to follow the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He also called for playing a practical role in loving Pakistan and contributing to the country’s development, prosperity, peace and stability so that it may earn distinction and success in the world.
