The UK’s Minister of State for International Development and Africa, Baroness Chapman, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today as part of an official visit to Pakistan. The leaders discussed development cooperation, climate resilience, economic engagement and broader regional issues.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen cooperation across these priority areas, stressing the need for practical collaboration on programmes that support sustainable development and adaptation to climate risks.
