Training also explored the manufacture of value-added products derived from bee by-products, including beeswax candles, skin moisturizers, lip balms, mosquito repellents and furniture polish. Emphasis was placed on simple preparation methods and low-cost packaging that can help trainees convert raw materials into marketable goods.
