CDA Warns Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House Against Illegal Housing Development

Islamabad (Nadeem Tanoli) The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a public notice instructing the management of Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House to stop all marketing and sale of plots in the un-authorized and illegal housing development. The notice was addressed to Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House.

Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House: Illegal Housing Schemes in Zone V

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) stated that it has come to its attention that properties in Zone-V, Islamabad are being sold and marketed under the names of Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House. However, the sponsors of these schemes have not acquired clearance or a no objection certificate from the CDA on their layout plans.

The CDA has issued a warning to the management of Samana Smart City and Sawan Farm House, instructing them to cease all marketing and sales of plots, as well as any sort of development or construction in the un-authorized and unlawful housing scheme.

CDA Chairman Takes Strict Action Against Officials for Failure to Remove Illegal Houses

After they have completed the necessary paperwork, they are to contact the CDA to request approval of their layout plans and no objection certificates.

The CDA has also cautioned the general public against making investments in any housing development that is not permitted or legitimate. The authority has said that it would not be responsible for any loss or damage that may be incurred by those individuals who invest in such schemes.

The location of the plan in Islamabad is designated as Zone V. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is not aware of the scheme because it has not been registered.

Before making any kind of investment in a housing plan, the CDA has cautioned the general people to exercise extreme caution. The regulator stated that it is the responsibility of the investors to verify the legitimacy of the plan prior to making any financial investments.
