Civil Services Academy director visits Health Services Academy to plan joint leadership and management training for senior health and education officers.

Dr Shabbir Zaidi, Director Training at the Civil Services Academy Lahore, visited the Health Services Academy in Islamabad and held detailed talks with Vice Chancellor Dr Shehzad Ali Khan on enhancing institutional cooperation and joint training opportunities for government officers.

Discussions focused on launching collaborative programs that draw on the Civil Services Academy’s strengths in leadership, management and public policy training and the Health Services Academy’s ongoing educational initiatives. Both institutions explored practical frameworks for shared courses aimed at senior officers in the health and education sectors.

Dr Shehzad Ali Khan outlined the Health Services Academy’s current training projects and emphasized that modern, targeted training is essential for effective leadership in Pakistan’s health and education systems. Dr Shabbir Zaidi shared the Civil Services Academy’s experience in designing leadership and management curricula and stressed the value of joint modules tailored to public sector needs.

Both leaders agreed to move ahead with planning joint leadership and management courses in the near term to strengthen policy formulation and administrative performance across health and education departments, reflecting a shared commitment to capacity building and administrative reform.
