During the meeting, Senator Dar conveyed greetings from Pakistan’s Prime Minister and praised Begum Zia for her significant contributions as the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
The discussion also included fond recollections of Begum Khaleda Zia’s visit to Pakistan in 2006, highlighting the enduring ties between the two countries. The visit underscored Pakistan’s goodwill towards Begum Zia and acknowledged her influential role in Bangladeshi politics.
