A committee meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq, Dean FSL and Director General of the Islamic Research Institute, decided to strengthen student engagement and enforce existing rules for curricular and co-curricular activities during the upcoming fall semester, emphasizing strict adherence to the approved activity calendar and campus regulations.
The meeting brought together senior university officials, including the Student Advisor Dr. Hafiz Ghufran Ali, Provost Dr. Muhammad Ibrar Shinwari, faculty members Dr. Tauqeer Hussain Sargana and Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Siddiq, Col. Ali Haider (CSO), and Ali Raafie, Assistant Director Examinations. Participants reviewed procedures for organizing student activities and assessed measures to ensure orderly implementation.
Committee members stressed that the activity calendar already approved by the competent authorities must be implemented in letter and spirit. The discussion focused on strengthening student engagement within the university’s established procedures and regulations, while maintaining discipline and proper management of events.
Officials unanimously reiterated that no illegal or unauthorized activities will be allowed on campus. To ensure compliance, students are required to obtain prior approval from the Directorate of Student Affairs before arranging any curricular or co-curricular events.
The committee reaffirmed its commitment to creating a constructive environment that encourages positive, rule-based activities to support students’ cognitive growth and physical development. Members also expressed appreciation for the support extended by the President of IIUI in facilitating student activities on campus.
