Federal Board Announces 2025 Intermediate Exam Results and Top Positions

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has announced the results for the annual examinations of 11th and 12th grades for the year 2025. This year, the pass rate for grade 11 stood at 62.40 percent, while grade 12 achieved a significantly higher pass rate of 83.19 percent.

In the pre-medical group, Alina Tahir from Army Public School and College Pasban for Women, Rawalpindi Cantt, secured the top position by scoring 1071 marks. The second highest scorer was Wardah Sarfraz from Scholars Science College, The Mall, Lalarukh Wah Cantt with 1070 marks. The third position was shared by Urwa Malik from Army Public School and College for Girls, Humayun Road, Rawalpindi Cantt, and Manahil Murtaza from Army Public School and College Gujranwala Cantt, both of whom scored 1069 marks.

For the pre-engineering group, the highest score was achieved by Muzammil Sajid of Scholars Science College, Lalarukh Wah Cantt, who obtained 1063 marks. Muhammad Sami from Caps College, Wah Cantt Campus, secured second place with 1059 marks, while Ayesha Naeem from Army Public School, Fort Road Rawalpindi Cantt, came third with 1054 marks.

In the General Science group, Ziyam Rohaib from Army Public School, Fort Road Rawalpindi Cantt, claimed the first position with 1056 marks. The second and third positions were both awarded to students from Punjab College Hill Campus, H-11/4, Islamabad: Ayesha Zaidi achieved 1055 marks and Halima Zohaib received 1053 marks respectively.

Among commerce students, Jannat Nazir from Punjab College Hill Campus, H-11/4, Islamabad, topped the group with 1025 marks. Shayza Mah Noor from the same college secured the second position with 1020 marks, followed by Zainab Waqar in third place with 1013 marks.

In the Humanities group, Deena Khan from Pakistan International School, Saudi Arabia, secured the top spot with 986 marks. Second place was shared by Talha Shams from Institute of Islamic Sciences, Satrah Mile Islamabad, and Zoha from Punjab College Hill Campus, H-11/4, Islamabad, both with 981 marks. Sidra from Pakistan International School, Taif, Saudi Arabia, took the third position with 974 marks.

During the prize distribution ceremony, Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, Chairman FBISE, briefed the chief guest, Minister of State Wajiha Qamar, about the examination system and extended congratulations to all position holders. In her address, Wajiha Qamar praised the students, expressing pride in their achievements and confidence in the country’s future being in capable hands. She emphasized that the younger generation has demonstrated greater patriotism, kindness, and compassion, making the nation proud.

Federal Secretary Nadeem Mehmood commended the recent reforms and transparent examination system implemented by the Federal Board, highlighting that merit and discipline continue to prevail. He specifically appreciated the Chairman and his team for ensuring integrity in the organization of exams, inspections, and selection of markers. He also acknowledged the students as the true special guests of the ceremony, particularly those who achieved outstanding success, calling it a memorable day in their lives.
