Islamabad 23 March 2026 — Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, federal minister for education and vocational training, marked Pakistan Day by reminding the nation of the Lahore Resolution of 1940 that laid the foundation for Pakistan. He said Pakistan Day is a time to remember the vision, resolve and sacrifices of the country’s founders and to renew the pledge to build a state based on justice, equality and equal opportunity.
The minister emphasized that achieving a strong and prosperous Pakistan requires collective effort from all segments of society. Highlighting the central role of education in national progress, he said that education is the cornerstone for securing a brighter future and that every child receiving quality education remains the government’s top priority.
On Pakistan Day Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui stressed the urgent need to equip the younger generation with knowledge and practical skills, calling this a critical requirement of the time. He noted that comprehensive measures are underway across the country to promote high-quality and equitable education for all students.
The minister urged citizens to observe the principles of unity, faith and discipline on Pakistan Day and to work together for the development and stability of the nation. He concluded by calling for joint action to ensure Pakistan’s continued progress and prosperity. Long live Pakistan.
