Federal Minister reviews NED University's Gaming and Animation Center, urges design and sustainability upgrades and pledges government support for timely completion.

The Federal Minister for IT and Telecom visited NED University Karachi to review the progress of the Gaming and Animation Center of Excellence and offered practical recommendations on design, facility layout and sustainability measures. The visit focused on ensuring the Gaming and Animation Center meets international standards and delivers durable infrastructure for creative work.

Minister Shaza emphasized that the Gaming and Animation Center will create new opportunities for young people across the country and provide a platform for talent development. The minister suggested specific improvements to the centre’s facilities and operational plan to make sure students and entrepreneurs can fully benefit from the resources on site.

The minister also said the centre will strengthen Pakistan’s gaming and animation industry and become a recognised hub for digital creative skills. He pledged that the government will provide full cooperation to ensure timely completion of the project and that the center is equipped to international benchmarks.

Describing the project as a milestone for youth innovation and growth, the minister noted that the Gaming and Animation Center aligns with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s digital vision and will support long-term development of creative sectors in Pakistan. The review concluded with a commitment to monitor progress and implement the recommended upgrades for sustainability and usability.
