FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh, in his message on the occasion of Defence Day of Pakistan, paid tribute to the armed forces and the entire nation.
He said September 6 was a shining example of courage, bravery and sacrifice in Pakistan’s national history. He saluted the everlasting sacrifices of the Pakistan armed forces and the martyrs.
Atif Ikram Sheikh said Defence Day gives the message of unity for the protection and progress of the country. He said the nation would always remember the sacrifices of its martyrs and ghazis.
The FPCCI president said Pakistan’s armed forces were always ready for the defence of the country and were the pride of the nation. He said national unity, solidarity and patriotism were Pakistan’s real strength.
He said the business community would continue to play its full role in stabilising the national economy and contributing to national development.
Atif Ikram Sheikh said the sacrifices of the martyrs strengthened the resolve to make Pakistan stronger and prosperous. He added that, on Defence Day, the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan armed forces.
