Haji Habib Rahman funeral in Rawalpindi attended by political and community leaders; prayers offered and the late welfare worker laid to rest with full tributes.

The Haji Habib Rahman funeral was held in Rawalpindi as family, local residents and leaders gathered to offer Namaz-e-Janazah for the late elder. The ceremony drew a large turnout from political, social, religious and business circles alongside residents of Chah Sultan, where the family is well known.

Among those who attended were former Union Council 30 chairman Mumtaz Khan, Union Council 31 chairman Jamil Akhtar and former Azad Kashmir legislative assembly member Ahmed Raza Qadri. Vice chairman Muhammad Iftikhar Kamboh, known locally as Tari, received condolences from attendees as communal prayers were offered for the departed.

Speakers and participants paid tribute to Haji Habib Rahman for his longstanding religious, social and welfare work, describing him as a pious, affable and principled figure who dedicated himself to public service and promoting brotherhood. Those present said his death leaves a significant void in the local community that will be deeply felt.

After the funeral prayer the body was laid to rest in the local cemetery, and attendees made special supplications for the elevation of his ranks. Condolences were extended to the vice chairman and the bereaved family, with prayers that they be granted patience and strength to bear this loss.

Community leaders and residents prayed that Allah grant Haji Habib Rahman a high place in Jannat al-Firdous and provide solace to his survivors, reaffirming the community’s respect for his years of service.
