The Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI), in partnership with the State Bank of Pakistan, hosted a training session focusing on Islamic banking practices and financial accessibility for women entrepreneurs. JazzCash and the Pink Team were present as well, showcasing digital financial solutions designed to support the expansion and sustainability of women-led businesses.

Representatives from the State Bank of Pakistan offered detailed insights into various initiatives targeting women entrepreneurs. Such efforts aim to enhance women’s economic participation by improving their access to appropriate financial products and backing tailored specifically for their needs.

IWCCI spokesperson, Naima Ansari, highlighted several policy recommendations aimed at significantly improving women’s access to financial resources. She stressed the importance of bridging gaps between female entrepreneurs and financial institutions, urging authorities to adopt policy amendments that would ensure greater financial inclusion, resource accessibility, and business sustainability.

Ansari emphasized that establishing stronger engagement and connectivity between women entrepreneurs and financial stakeholders is crucial. Improved financial access and better capital availability, she noted, will allow women-owned enterprises to achieve sustainable growth and positively contribute to the broader economy.
