The Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan took part in the Global Destinations Expo 2025 in Islamabad on 1 December, an event organised by Discover Pakistan in partnership with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC). The exhibition brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps from Central Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East alongside key stakeholders from Pakistan’s tourism industry.
At the Kazakhstan pavilion visitors were offered brochures and thematic publications while video presentations showcased the country’s attractions, natural landscapes, historical sites and popular tourist destinations. The displays provided Pakistani travellers with a clear introduction to Kazakhstan tourism, highlighting the range of sights and cultural heritage on offer.
Guests also sampled elements of traditional Kazakh cuisine and viewed souvenir products adorned with national ornaments, which drew considerable interest. Participants at the event praised Kazakhstan’s tourism potential and described the country as a promising travel destination for Pakistani citizens.
The embassy’s participation reinforced cultural and tourism links between the two countries, leaving local stakeholders optimistic about growing travel interest and people-to-people exchange following the outreach at the expo.
