The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa women’s rugby side produced a dominant display in Nazimabad to secure a semi-final berth at the 35th National Games in Karachi. Under the supervision of the Pakistan Rugby Federation, KP outclassed Islamabad with a combination of sharp technique, quick pace and organised defence that kept the opposition on the back foot throughout the match.
The KP women rugby unit imposed relentless pressure from the start, converting structured attacks into points while maintaining disciplined tackling and spatial control. Following the victory, Muhammad Umair, Secretary of the KP Rugby Association, and Muhammad Hamza Tariq, the team manager, praised the players for their commitment and preparation. Coach Jameel Shah and Assistant Coach Osama Saif also expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance and urged the squad to carry the same intensity into the semi-final.
