Lahore Polo Club launches Polo in Pink Cup 2025 to raise breast cancer awareness with international women players and Lahore Smart City support.

The Lahore Polo Club will kick off the Lahore Smart City Polo in Pink Cup 2025 on Monday, October 20, 2025, combining top-level polo with a campaign to raise breast cancer awareness in partnership with Pink Ribbon Pakistan. The week-long event brings domestic and international women players to Lahore and highlights the sport’s role in promoting health messages.

The tournament was announced at a press conference attended by Malik Azam Hayat Noon, President of Lahore Polo Club; Omer Aftab, representative of Pink Ribbon Pakistan; Imran Zahid, CEO of Lahore Smart City; Zeeshan Qureshi from HRL; Farrukh Qureshi, Director Marketing at Capital Smart Motors; executive committee members Raja Amir Khan and Ahmed Nawaz Tiwana; Club Secretary Maj (R) Amjad; and the participating female players from Pakistan and abroad.

Each team features one female player was the message underlined by Malik Azam Hayat Noon, who noted the event is as much about supporting women’s health as it is about competition. Sixteen teams will contest the Cup, split into two groups, with the grand final scheduled for Sunday at the historic Lahore Polo Club. The Polo in Pink competition includes international entries from Lebanon, England, the United States, Mexico and local Pakistani talent.

Imran Zahid emphasised Lahore Smart City’s ongoing support for sports and social causes and reiterated the sponsor’s commitment to this annual event. Farrukh Qureshi linked the tournament’s elegance with Capital Smart Motors’ premium offerings, while Zeeshan Qureshi predicted lively crowds and world-class polo throughout the week.

Pool A lineup includes Zacky Farms with Pakistan’s Sofia Deana Ali Khan, Rijas/Din with the United States’ Elizay Girty, SQ Seagold featuring Lebanon’s Nada Gharib, Guard Group with Pakistan’s Daria Daula Ali Khan, Chakor Ventures with England’s Sarah Grover, Black Horse Paints with England’s Olivia Lamphee and Samba Bank with Holland’s Mendoza Houben. Pool B brings Nurpur Bandobast with England’s Kristina Nikolay Karailieva, The Townhouse with Mexico’s Paula Garibay, Lahore Smart City with Pakistan’s Zara Shah, AOS with Pakistan’s Fatima Mazhar, Platinum Homes with England’s Jade Wheeler, Diamond Paints with Pakistan’s Rabeel Hussain, Master Paints with Mexico’s Emilia Garibay and Haroon Sharif Jewellers with Pakistan’s Mahnum Faisal.

The opening day will feature three matches, followed by four matches each day as teams vie for a place in Sunday’s final. The Polo in Pink Cup 2025 promises competitive matches, international participation and a clear focus on breast cancer awareness, reflecting Lahore Polo Club’s continued dedication to sport and community causes.
