Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal reviewed the final preparations for the launch ceremony of the digital system for the registration and licensing of medical devices under the Federal Ministry of Health and DRAP (Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan). The event, soon to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to modernize healthcare regulation.
The arrangements for the historic ceremony have been completed, with officials confirming that the system is ready for launch. The event was attended by the Secretary of Health, Director General Health, CEO of DRAP, as well as representatives from media, digital media teams, and other key organizers.
This digital initiative aims to streamline the process of medical device registration and licensing, ensuring efficiency and enhanced regulatory oversight. The move is expected to benefit healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, and the wider public by promoting transparency and ease of business in the health sector.
