Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce President Zakaria Akbar Zia has said that the launch of modern residential projects is a positive development as investment in the construction and real estate sectors promotes economic activity, creates employment opportunities and supports allied industries.

He expressed these views while attending the groundbreaking ceremony of Atrium Hills, a modern residential project being developed by Seven Arz Development Group in Islamabad.

The ceremony marked the formal start of construction work on the project. Business personalities, real estate professionals and other distinguished guests were also present. The event was led by Sheikh Zia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Seven Arz Development Group, and Sheikh Momin, Executive Director.

Atrium Hills has been introduced as a modern residential development featuring contemporary architecture and quality living facilities. The project is located near Zaraj Housing Scheme, Sector B, Islamabad, and is planned to include modern apartments and various amenities for residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Zakaria Akbar Zia welcomed the launch of new projects in the construction sector and said that real estate and construction play an important role in the national economy. He said investment in these sectors not only stimulates economic activity but also generates employment and provides growth opportunities to several related industries.

He said Islamabad, besides being the federal capital, is an important centre of business, trade and residential activities. Keeping in view the city’s growing needs, he said projects based on modern architectural designs, better planning and quality residential facilities had assumed greater importance.

He observed that modern housing developments could improve the standard of living of citizens and contribute to the overall development of the city.

The ICCI president stressed that quality construction, transparency, professional expertise and timely completion should be treated as basic priorities in development projects. He said that maintaining the confidence of investors and buyers required a responsible approach at every stage of a project, along with the provision of accurate and clear information to prospective buyers.

Zakaria Akbar Zia said the business community was playing an important role in promoting investment and strengthening economic stability in the country. He added that effective cooperation among the government, investors, construction companies and business organisations could pave the way for new projects and create further opportunities for growth in different sectors of the economy.

He noted that increased construction activity also creates business opportunities for allied industries, including cement, steel, tiles, electrical equipment, furniture, transportation and other related sectors.

He said private-sector investment in modern residential developments could help meet Islamabad’s future housing needs. However, he added that the success of any project depended on quality construction, sound planning, fulfilment of legal requirements and maintaining the trust of buyers.

During the ceremony, the launch of Atrium Hills was described as an important step in the development vision of Seven Arz Development Group. The project aims to combine a contemporary residential lifestyle with a range of modern facilities, while its construction is expected to contribute to economic activity in related sectors.

Seven Arz Development Group has positioned Atrium Hills as part of its vision to provide modern residential facilities in Islamabad. The participation of members of the business community and real estate professionals in the groundbreaking ceremony reflected continued interest in modern residential developments in the federal capital.
