Syeda Muhadsa Naqvi, a prominent social activist and advocate, was honored with the prestigious Pride of Pakistan Award by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of her outstanding contributions to youth leadership, social empowerment, and national development. The award was presented during the national Independence Day celebrations at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad, in a ceremony attended by the country’s top leadership.
As the founder of the non-profit organization Leading Visionaries, Muhadsa Naqvi has played a key role since 2020 in promoting youth leadership and advancing awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Her advocacy and volunteer initiatives have established her as a leading voice for social change. Over the years, Muhadsa has received numerous accolades, including representing Pakistan in the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) in the United States, earning a Gold Medal from the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir for her volunteer work in youth empowerment, and being named among Pakistan’s 100 Young Influencers. She also achieved top honors in the UPG Sustainability Leadership Program, standing out among participants from over 183 countries and earning a fully funded educational trip to Hurricane Island, USA.
An accomplished LLB Gold Medalist, Muhadsa has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence while tirelessly working for youth development, gender equality, and enhancing Pakistan’s reputation internationally. Her leadership and dedication have inspired many young Pakistanis to take active roles in their communities.
During her acceptance speech, Muhadsa Naqvi expressed heartfelt gratitude for the national recognition and dedicated the award to everyone who has supported her throughout her journey. She paid a special tribute to her late mother, emphasizing the enduring strength she drew from her mother’s prayers and guidance. Other recipients of this year’s Pride of Pakistan Award included Ali Fareed Khawaja, Nadia Patel, Dr. Fazal Wahid, Shahida Abassi, Sabra Gul, and several other distinguished individuals recognized for their exceptional service to the nation.
