On the evening of 14 January 2026 the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) auditorium in Islamabad hosted a soul-stirring qawwali night led by Mustafa Abu Mohammad Qawwali and Brothers. Their rendition of classical Sufi poetry and traditional qawwalis filled the venue with deep spirituality and cultural dignity.
The ensemble delivered a moving programme that highlighted both technical mastery and emotional resonance, bringing listeners into moments of collective devotion. Music lovers, students, artists and people from diverse walks of life attended in large numbers, and sustained applause and rhythmic acclaim made clear the performance’s profound effect.
Director General PNCA Mohammad Ayub Jamali praised the group’s outstanding artistry, noting that such gatherings not only foster spiritual uplift but also play a crucial role in passing cultural traditions to younger generations.
