Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, has called on the people of Pakistan to uphold equality, justice, and respect for all citizens, regardless of their faith, in his message for National Minority Day. Emphasizing the vision of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the minister highlighted that religion should never be a barrier to anyone’s rights, dignity, or place in society.
Senator Tarar underlined that both the teachings of Islam and the principles of Pakistan’s constitution require safeguarding the rights of all communities and promoting social harmony. He urged the nation to renew its commitment to ensuring that every individual enjoys equal rights and opportunities without discrimination.
On the occasion of National Minority Day, the minister encouraged citizens to work collectively towards building a Pakistan where diversity is celebrated and unity is recognized as a strength. He stressed that justice must always serve as the guiding principle for society, aiming for a country where inclusiveness and respect for differences are hallmarks of the nation’s identity.
